We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Organize stock on shelves, ensuring products are displayed attractively and accessible to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy items safely within the warehouse or store.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels, product availability, and any discrepancies.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide information as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Support retail sales efforts by ensuring that promotional displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
