Cheese Shop Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Murrays Cheese Lead to champion quality standards and operational excellence within our cheese specialty environment. As the Murrays Cheese L:ead, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional product quality and customer experiences. Duties

• Lead and motivate the team to maintain high standards of product quality, safety, and customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory control processes, including proper storage, rotation, and documentation of cheese products.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications and regulatory standards.
• Implement corrective actions based on analysis of quality data and audit findings to enhance overall product integrity.
• Facilitate ongoing training for staff on quality assurance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory updates to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills

• Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001 standards related to food safety and quality management.
• Proven experience in conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing QA/QC processes within manufacturing or food production environments.
• Excellent analysis skills for identifying root causes of issues and developing effective solutions.
• Project management capabilities to coordinate initiatives that improve quality systems and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to cheese production or similar food products.
• Effective communication skills for training team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.95 per hour
