Job Summary:
Metro Security Services is seeking a professional, polished, and highly dependable candidate to oversee overnight operations at an upscale premier estate winery, boutique resort, and event destination.
This is not a typical guard position. This role is designed for individuals who understand that security and hospitality go hand-in-hand. You will serve as both a protector of the property and a frontline ambassador for a high-end guest experience.
You will be trusted to operate independently, make sound decisions, and maintain a strong visible presence while ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and the property at all times.

Core Responsibilities:
Security & Property Oversight
- Conduct hourly patrols of the entire property
- Monitor access points and ensure only authorized individuals are on-site
- Identify and proactively address safety risks or suspicious activity
Guest Interaction & Hospitality
- Provide professional, courteous assistance to guests when needed
- Handle guest concerns such as noise complaints with calm, respectful authority
- Maintain a customer-service mindset while enforcing property rules
Incident Response & Reporting
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Contact emergency services when necessary and follow escalation protocols
- Complete detailed incident reports (who, what, when, where, why) using company systems
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and management
Shift Operations
- Perform a full property check at start and end of shift
- Maintain presence in key areas (such as the wine bar) while staying alert
- Ensure all doors, access points, and common areas are secured
- Remain on-site until properly relieved—no unattended gaps in coverage

Compensation & Growth:
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Starting Rate: $18.00/hour
