Metro Security Services is looking for Event Security Officers to join our team for a high-energy festival event taking place August 11th through August 16th!
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in event security, work alongside an energetic team, and be part of an unforgettable festival experience!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Festival Security Officer, you will help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and performers.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing a visible security presence throughout the event
- Monitoring festival grounds and assigned areas
- Managing access points and restricted areas
- Checking credentials, passes, and event access
- Conducting guest bag checks and screening attendees in accordance with festival security policies
- Inspecting bags and personal belongings for prohibited items while maintaining a professional and respectful approach
- Assisting with crowd control and maintaining safe pedestrian flow
- Monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas
- De-escalating situations in a calm and professional manner
- Assisting guests with directions and general questions
- Reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents
- Working closely with event management, festival staff, and emergency personnel
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for Security Officers who are:
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Friendly and customer-service oriented
- Alert and observant
- Comfortable working around large crowds
- Comfortable conducting bag checks and guest screening
- Able to remain calm and professional when enforcing event policies
- Strong communicators
- Able to confidently and respectfully interact with guests
- Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Available to work during the festival dates of August 11th–16th
Previous security or event experience is a plus, but motivated candidates who are ready to learn are encouraged to apply!
