Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Mental Health Practitioners to deliver Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to clients in their homes and community settings. This role focuses on teaching essential skills that promote recovery and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Assessments (FA) and Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) in compliance with guidelines.
- Provide direct ARMHS services, focusing on skill-building in areas such as medication management, social interaction, and daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support client progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by DHS standards.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to adults with mental illness.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Procentive or similar electronic health record systems.
- Familiarity with ARMHS documentation requirements.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experienced in supporting adults, including individuals with cognitive challenges.
- Well-versed in the impact of mental illness and familiar with available community resources.
- Capable of working autonomously, handling stress effectively, and adjusting to dynamic schedules.
