The search is focused on hands-on field leaders with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, ideally with experience delivering INDOT highway and roadway and other large scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations across heavy civil projects.
- Manage crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment on site.
- Coordinate earthwork, underground utility installation, and paving activities.
- Ensure projects meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Work closely with Project Managers to drive productivity and control costs.
- Monitor materials, resources, and site progress to keep projects on track.
Ideal Background
- Superintendent experience within heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
- Previous experience on INDOT or DOT highway and roadway projects.
- Proven ability to lead field teams and deliver projects safely and efficiently.
