What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager (Water/Wastewater) position at Metric Geo?
We’re partnered with one of the top 10 general contractors in the U.S., looking to hire a Project Manager to support their growing water and wastewater division in Arizona.
This role will focus on delivering complex treatment plant and utility infrastructure projects, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project performance.
Key responsibilities include overseeing project financials, managing risk, coordinating with field teams and superintendents, and ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and in compliance with contract requirements. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining client relationships and driving successful project outcomes on large-scale municipal projects.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in heavy civil or utility construction, with a strong background in water/wastewater treatment plant projects. Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, is essential.
Compensation:
- $130,000 – $170,000 base salary full benefits package
