Project Administrator
Location: Wilmington, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
The Project Administrator plays a critical role in supporting construction projects through effective documentation management, stakeholder coordination, and compliance oversight. This position works closely with project management teams to ensure projects remain organized, contractually compliant, and financially accurate.
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional who is highly organized and capable of managing multiple project-related responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project files
- Manage submittals and RFIs
- Maintain drawing logs and revision tracking
- Coordinate warranties and closeout documentation
- Attend meetings and record detailed meeting minutes
Compliance & Risk Management
- Track subcontractor and vendor compliance requirements
- Maintain certificates of insurance
- Monitor disadvantaged business participation and documentation
- Support safety compliance initiatives
- Ensure permits and licenses remain current
Financial Administration
- Process pay applications and vendor invoices
- Assist with budget tracking and cost variance identification
- Issue and track purchase orders
- Maintain lien waivers and change order logs
- Support project budget updates
Required Skills & Competencies
