NDT Level III Technician – Magnetic Particle (MT)

An independent aerospace nondestructive testing organization is seeking a hands on NDT Level III Technician with a focus in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to support daily operations and provide technical leadership on the shop floor.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the work, performing inspections, and mentoring technicians while contributing to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections as the primary focus
Support Penetrant Testing (PT) as needed
Provide hands on training, mentoring, and coaching to NDT technicians
Assist in maintaining compliance with NAS 410 and SNT TC 1A requirements
Support process improvements and ensure quality standards are consistently met
Serve as a technical resource for inspection methods and best practices
Qualifications
Certified NDT Level III with MT required
PT certification strongly preferred
Strong hands on inspection experience with an on the floor mindset
Experience training and mentoring technicians
Familiarity with aerospace standards and quality systems
