We are seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to lead bridge and structural projects, providing both technical design and project management oversight. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with hands-on bridge/structures experience who enjoys managing projects, mentoring team members, and interacting with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from design through construction
- Provide component design on complex projects; direct designs on less complex projects
- Prepare project specifications, permit applications, and cost estimates
- Assist with quality reviews and manage project budgets and schedules
- Coordinate with clients and respond to project needs
- Support proposal and presentation preparation
- Mentor and assess technical skills of junior engineers
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- PE
- 10 years of bridge and structural design experience
- Project management experience required
- Familiarity with DOT standards and consulting environment preferred
- Experience with bridges, retaining walls, levees, culverts, pump stations, and other civil/structural projects
- Technical software knowledge: RISA, AASHTOWare, AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office
Salary : $120,000 - $155,000
