About the Opportunity
I’m currently partnering with a well-established general contractor specializing in commercial and industrial developments to appoint an experienced Superintendent. With a strong pipeline of warehouse, distribution, and light industrial projects, this is a key site leadership role offering autonomy, stability, and long-term growth within a high-performing team.
The Role
As Superintendent, you will take full responsibility for on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead field operations from ground-up through completion, coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities across commercial, Warehouse and Large Ground up projects
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and daily field operations
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved
- Enforce health & safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and site documentation
- Drive quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Proactively identify and resolve site challenges and risks
- Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 5-15 years’ experience in construction, with a focus on commercial or warehouse/industrial projects
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced project environments
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience delivering projects in the $10M-$100M range preferred
