The Opportunity
I'm currently supporting a leading electrical contractor with a strong presence across the Western US that is continuing to expand its Data Centre and Mission Critical division.
Due to a growing backlog of secured work, they are looking to hire a Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale electrical construction projects across Data Centres, Industrial Facilities, and Advanced Manufacturing developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within project delivery and progress into Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the successful delivery of electrical construction projects
- Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, and project documentation
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
- Assist with budgeting, change orders, and project controls
- Maintain project management systems and reporting
- Support project scheduling and project close-out activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout project delivery
What We're Looking For
- Experience within electrical construction, industrial, mission critical, or large commercial projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and procurement processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is advantageous
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
