What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Scheduler position at Metric DCX?
The Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for large-scale data center construction projects. Working with project managers, superintendents, owners, design teams, and trade partners, this role develops and manages Primavera P6 CPM schedules, monitors project progress, identifies schedule risks, and supports successful project delivery through planning, forecasting, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CPM schedules in Primavera P6.
- Update schedules based on field progress and project milestones.
- Monitor the critical path and identify schedule risks and delays.
- Coordinate scheduling activities with project teams, owners, designers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans.
- Support project planning, forecasting, and schedule risk analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of construction scheduling experience, with data center or large commercial construction experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
