What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Superintendent - Data Centers position at Metric DCX?
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale Data Center projects nationwide. In this role, you’ll manage electrical crews, oversee installations of major power systems, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise crews and subcontractors on-site.
- Oversee installation of switchgear, UPS, generators, and distribution systems.
- Drive safety compliance (OSHA, NEC, NFPA) and lead daily safety meetings.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep work on schedule.
- Ensure quality standards and support testing/commissioning.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years in electrical construction, with 3 in a supervisory role.
- Strong Data Center, Mission-Critical, or large commercial project experience.
- Experience across High and/or Medium Voltage.
- Willing to travel for nationwide projects.
