I'm currently partnering with a well-established manufacturer looking to appoint a Plant Manager to lead site operations and continue driving performance, safety and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader to make a significant impact within an established operation.
The Role
Reporting into senior operations leadership, you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the site, leading a team across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement.
You'll be responsible for developing your leadership team, improving operational performance, delivering site objectives and creating a culture focused on safety, efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all manufacturing operations across the facility.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor site leadership teams.
- Deliver against safety, quality, production and financial objectives.
- Lead plant performance, productivity and cost improvement initiatives.
- Oversee capital projects, planned shutdowns and site improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on long-term operational success.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years' manufacturing leadership experience, including 5 years leading a manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred (other engineering disciplines will also be considered).
- Background within Chemical, Energy, Process or Food Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading plant transformations and improving operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.
