The Opportunity
Dedicated role in support of one large customer in the West Customer Unit, providing administrative support and customer service. Works with the Account Team, Account Executive, and other internal partners to manage the customer relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall accountability for: customer requests, leading projects, providing alternative solutions, consults where appropriate, identifies possible plan design alternatives, acts as a liaison between the customer and internal MetLife teams and collaborates for problem troubleshooting and resolution.
- Provides exceptional customer service to support ongoing customer delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Leads, participates, and drives resolutions where applicable in both customer- and internal-facing presentations and meetings.
- Participates in strategy meetings, establishes specific processes and reports, provides demonstrations, reviews contract documents, creates process manuals, inputs, and ensures accurate input of data in MetLife systems.
- Develops agenda and presentation materials for customer meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 1 years' experience with Disability and/or Absence Management products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness.
- Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
- Ability to balance customer expectations with MetLife capabilities
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Group Benefits core products - particularly Disability and Absence Management
The expected salary range for this position is $78,000 - $114,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
