What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - PRN - Inpatient Therapy (1171) position at Methodist Rehabilitation?
- To provide Physical Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting
- Develop, document, and implement appropriate treatment plans to promote the optimal outcomes for patients with a wide range of injuries and ages.
- Participates in regularly scheduled patient care-team conferences to contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care with therapy goals, patient progress, and discharge recommendations.
- Coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team that includes but is not limited to: physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, etc.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A compassionate professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery
Shift:
- PRN - As Needed
- Education: Appropriate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure: Current, valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Mississippi
- Certification: American Red Cross BLS
- Experience: New graduates welcome to apply; clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.
