Role: Functional Lead SAP FICO / Treasury & Risk Management (TRM)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite 4 days/week)
Role Overview
Client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Lead specializing in FICO and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) to drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices. This role will lead solution design, configuration, and implementation across global finance processes, ensuring scalable and compliant financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead design and implementation of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Drive Treasury design including:
- Cash & Liquidity Management
- Banking & Payments
- Debt and Investment Management
- Financial Risk Management (FX, interest rate risk)
- SAP Configuration & Implementation
- Configure and optimize:
- Cash positioning & liquidity forecasting
- Treasury instruments and transactions
- Risk management processes
- Ensure alignment with S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal ACDOCA)
- Integration & Data Management
- Lead integration with:
- MM (Procurement)
- SD (Order-to-Cash)
- External banking systems (via APIs, interfaces, or middleware)
- Oversee:
- Financial data migration
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops
- Drive design decisions aligned with global templates
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to:
- Global financial standards
- Local statutory requirements
- Support financial reporting and audit readiness
Required Qualifications
- 10 15 years of SAP FICO experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP TRM (mandatory)
- Proven S/4HANA Finance transformation experience
- Experience in multi-country/global rollouts
- Strong leadership in client-facing roles
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Central Finance or Group Reporting
- Exposure to bank integrations (SWIFT, APIs, etc.)
- Knowledge of financial instruments and hedging strategies
Salary : $60 - $65
