  1. Bachelor degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Health, Psychology, or a related field is recommended. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years previous supervised work experience with young children and/or parents.
  2. Must pass criminal background check and is subject to the agency’s drug and alcohol testing
  3. Extensive travel required in the area; must be able to travel outside project area as
  4. May come into contact with childhood diseases and blood on
  5. Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as approved by the agency’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  6. Employee must have an account with a financial institution that can process financial transactions through MET’s electronic payroll system.
  7. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer
  8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  9. Complete and manage reports and activities in accordance with program
  10. Collect data and track client progress and conduct assessments to identify possible interventions, and provide guidance and referrals to resources.
  11. Facilitate group activities, program overviews, and
  12. Participate in staff meetings, case reviews and supervised
  13. Maintain and submit in a timely manner all required program
  14. Locate and maintain professional relationships with service providers and community partners within the project area and surrounding communities.
  15. Create MOU’s with community partners that outline services.
  16. Identify human services available to parents and children across the service
  17. Provide training to parents and staff using outside sources as
  18. Conduct extensive outreach efforts and serve as an advocate for enrolled
  19. Support advocates with their community events and recruitment
  20. Provide training to advocates to enhance their professional
  21. Recruit community partners to participate in coalition
  22. Participate in continuous quality
  23. Report to work at scheduled time and maintain good Perform all duties in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Participate with a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities.
  24. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of  responsiblity.
  25. Perform all other duties as outlined by supervisor.
