We are seeking a Nutrition Specialist for this Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Oak Park, IL. The Nutrition Specialist would be the primary contact for nutrition site visitors, supporting daily operations through visitor services, kitchen operations, and program administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome/check-in visitors and manage tracking systems
- Handle nutrition department phones, registrations, and hotlines
- Onboard new participants and maintain program files
- Data entry across multiple systems (CMIS, Excel, MySenior Center, AgingIS)
- Monitor kitchen supplies, assist with meal prep/service/cleanup
- Support all nutrition-related programs and maintain information materials
Requirements:
- Manager Level Food Safety Certification
- High School diploma
- Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, Word, email)
- Knowledge of Title III Nutrition Program Requirements
- Strong communication and basic math skills
Details: 30 hrs/week (9am-3pm)
