Production Planning /Estimating Coordinator – Architectural Metal Shop
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in architectural/custom metal fabrication to support estimating, production planning, scheduling, and project coordination within our metal shop. This role is ideal for someone who understands custom metal work, fabrication processes, shop workflow, and basic engineering/blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates and material take-offs for custom architectural metal projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and production requirements
- Coordinate production scheduling and workflow within the shop
- Assist with project planning, timelines, and job tracking
- Communicate with fabrication teams, project managers, and vendors
- Monitor production progress and provide reporting updates
- Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Support purchasing and material planning as needed
- Experience in metal fabrication, architectural metals, or custom manufacturing
- Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and production planning
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with shop operations and fabrication processes
- Engineering or drafting knowledge is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems, Excel, or project tracking software preferred
