Your Role with the Company:
As an estimating administrator, your primary responsibility will be to support the estimating department and assist in managing local and state licenses. This involves:
- Prospecting future work at a local, DOT and federal level.
- Utilizing Precon Suite to send quote requests out for bids.
- Managing the bidding process by ordering plans, creating the bid across various systems, gathering material for proposals/bid books, ordering bonds if needed, and submitting the bid.
- Organizing and updating the Estimating List throughout the life of the bid.
- Submitting RFI’s to the General Contractor or Project Owner for bids.
- Managing the estimating email and organizing project information (RFI answers or quotes).
- Assisting with local and state licensing documentation.
- Updating the State Licensing Matrix Excel sheet as we are licensed in new states.
- Offering unwavering support to estimators and supporting them with any needs that they have.
- Adhering to the dynamic demands of the role, including the completion of other pertinent duties as they arise.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in office administration, communications or anything similar.
- Experience in lieu of degree is also welcomed.
