POSITION SUMMARY
The Camp Registrar, under the direction of the Senior Executive Director of Camping Services, shall be responsible for all financial and marketing operations of the Camping Services Branch Office. This includes but is not limited to camp registration, maintaining statistical and financial information, purchasing for the office, and supporting the camps during the summer. The Camp Registrar will also be responsible for ensuring that the Camping Services Branch website remains current with the most updated information available. In conjunction with the Senior Executive Director of Camping Services, the Camp Registrar will also assist in the marketing efforts in support of Camp Lawrence, Camp Nokomis, Camp Otter and Family Camp.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for camp registration process.
2. Manage financial assistance application process.
3. Process invoices throughout the year.
4. Purchasing for camp office.
5. Handle other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Segments:
1. Overall responsibility of Camping Services Office Operations. Typical hours of operation for the office shall be Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Marketing and engagement responsibilities may require some nights and weekends throughout the year.
2. Responsible for all administrative aspects of the registration process: accepting all registrations (through the mail, online or phone) for all of the Merrimack Valley YMCA’s camps, maintaining these records, providing reports for the Camp Directors about transportation, billing, rosters and other camper information.
3. Lead and implement the management of the financial assistance process for the camps of the Merrimack Valley YMCA.
4. Responsible for the dissemination and maintenance of all financial operations of the office, at the direction of the Senior Executive Director of Camping Services.
5. Assist with the development and distribution of all camp brochures, newsletters, registration materials, flyers, parent communication pieces and manuals.
6. Manage the camp software program (Camp Brain).
7. Provide direct staff support to Camp Otter as needed.
8. Assist with planning and implementation of Women’s Wellness Weekend.
Financial Development:
1. Provides leadership and support of Annual Campaign that results in achievement of our annual fund-raising goal.
2. Attend and assist with association special event fundraising efforts.
Other Duties:
1. Participate in branch, association, and community events.
2. Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

1. Increased enrollment at all camps, thereby meeting annual enrollment goals.
2. Improved customer service to all people that communicate with the Camping Services Branch.
3. Improved efficiency in communicating with current and prospective camper families.

Qualifications:
1. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or related experience preferred.
2. Minimum three years experience with customer relations-oriented job with proven results.

6. High level of organizational skills.
7. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
8. Excellent computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher). Familiarity with camp and membership software programs or ability to learn this software quickly.
9. Experience with website and copy design.
10. Must complete Merrimack Valley YMCA online Child Abuse Prevention Training within the first two weeks of employment.
11. Must complete CPR/AED training within the first 90 days of employment.
