This role coordinates onboarding and manages credentialing processes for both clinical and non-clinical team members to support safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome & Onboard New Team Members
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for clinical and non-clinical employees
- Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding documentation
- Facilitate healthcare orientation and required compliance training
- Partner with IT, payroll, security, and leadership to ensure timely system access and readiness
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process
- Collect and verify licenses, certifications, and credentials for healthcare professionals
- Perform primary source verification of licenses, education, and work history
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, immunizations, and health screenings
- Track expiration dates and ensure ongoing credential compliance
- Maintain accurate records and prepare credentialing files for regulatory reviews
- Assist with internal and external audits related to onboarding and credentialing
- Maintain documentation to meet Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state licensing requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and credentialing processes
- Communicate credentialing status with hiring managers and clinical leaders
- Guide employees through licensure requirements and renewal processes
- Partner with recruiting and HR teams to support efficient hiring and workforce readiness

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in healthcare HR, onboarding, or credentialing
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, and state licensing requirements)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS, credentialing software, or healthcare systems is a plus
