- Critical, life-saving work: Provide art therapy in a setting designed for urgent stabilization—patients may include individuals experiencing crisis-level symptoms, suicidal or impulsive behaviors, or needing emergency interventions.
- Intensive collaboration: Work within a multi-disciplinary team offering round-the-clock care in age-appropriate units for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Healing through structure: Support recovery through individualized treatment planning, group and family sessions, education, and emotional skill-building—art therapy can be a vital bridge.
- Flexible, impactful care: Facilitate day-treatment experiences for individuals (both children and adults) with symptoms like anxiety, depression, self-injury, and social withdrawal—without requiring overnight hospitalization.
- Short-term, high-impact sessions: Typically spanning 1–2 weeks, PHP allows patients to receive structured therapeutic support and return home each evening.
- Personalized and holistic: Engage through art alongside individual, group, and family therapy, plus education on wellness, social skills, coping strategies, and more.
- Meaningful mission: Be part of a continuum of care that includes intensive inpatient and compassionate day treatment services, all under one roof.
- Collaborative culture: Work alongside seasoned professionals—including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and educational specialists—committed to patient-centered outcomes.

- Lead daily art therapy sessions tailored to patient needs in both Inpatient and PHP settings.
- Join treatment planning meetings and collaborate on goal-driven therapeutic outcomes.
- Document within Electronic Health Records with precision and timeliness.
- Participate in case reviews, team discussions, and ongoing training.
- Adhere to all confidentiality, safety, and mandated reporting guidelines.
- Education: Master’s degree in Art Therapy (AATA-accredited).
- License: Maryland LCPAT (Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist).
- Strengths: Excellent communication, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.
- Experience: Skilled in working with diverse age groups—children, adolescents, and adults—across high-intensity care environments.
- Tech proficiency: Comfortable navigating Electronic Health Records.
- Split between bedside, group spaces, and office.
- On-site daily presence required for both inpatient and PHP settings.
