Neon Paint Place is Baltimore’s premier glow-in-the-dark art experience where creativity, music, and entertainment come together. Our immersive studio offers neon sip & paint classes, splatter paint experiences, spin art, and private events designed to create unforgettable memories for our guests.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly energetic, extroverted Sip & Paint Instructor who is confident leading groups and creating a lively, engaging atmosphere. This role requires someone who is very experienced teaching instructed painting classes and comfortable performing in front of groups.
Our instructors are entertainers as much as they are artists. You must be able to guide guests step-by-step while keeping the room fun and interactive by engaging with guests, making them laugh, encouraging creativity, and ensuring everyone has a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engaging step-by-step sip & paint classes for groups of guests
Create a fun, high-energy environment by interacting with guests and keeping the room entertained
Engage with customers throughout the session, offering encouragement and assistance
Prepare demonstration paintings and art materials before each class
Take photos and short videos for social media when appropriate
Assist with studio setup, cleanup, and organization after events
Support private parties, corporate events, and special themed classes
Requirements
Must be extremely outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking in front of groups
Strong experience leading instructed painting classes is required
Ability to entertain guests, engage with customers, and keep the energy high
Minimum 2 years of painting experience (acrylic preferred)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be available evenings and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist guests during sessions
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
