The Role: Order Entry & Billing Specialist
This position will be responsible for all customer order entry and billing functions, along with generating daily and monthly sales reports. The position reports to the General Accounting Manager. The day-to-day will be focused on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. The job knowledge and competency will be built through structured step-by-step training with the support of management and peers. This role requires collaboration with Sales/Customer Service, Production Scheduling, and Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Order Entry and Billing function utilizing Infor XA ERP software
- Generate daily and monthly sales reports for staff
- Handle EDI transactions with customers
- Closing of the monthly billing cycle
- Serve as backup for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions and other miscellaneous functions to assist the General Accounting Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 yrs. Experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills, including Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of Infor XA ERP software or a similar system would be helpful
- Must be professional, personable, organized, and a team player
