Experienced AR/AP Associate P/T

Meridian Global Staffing Solutions is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR/AP) Specialist for an immediate part-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on AR/AP experience, strong proficiency in QuickBooks, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This individual must be highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple accounting responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.

This position offers the potential for long-term, permanent employment based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Prepare, process, and track invoices, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
• Monitor AR aging reports, outstanding balances, and overdue payments.
• Assist with collections follow-ups and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Support the preparation and review of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial reports.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining proper documentation.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional AR/AP experience required.
• Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing AR aging reports and managing outstanding balances.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Must be available to start immediately.

Compensation & Opportunity

• Competitive hourly pay of $28.00–$30.00, depending on experience.
• Part-time schedule, Monday - Wednesday.
