We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Financial Counselor to support our clients and ensure a positive financial experience.
What You’ll Do
- Assist clients in person and by phone with professionalism and compassion
- Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial responsibilities
- Collect co-pays, manage balances, and set up payment plans
- Maintain accurate billing and demographic information in the EMR
- Support scheduling and collaborate with front desk teams to improve collections
- Ensure client accounts and financial documents are accurate and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Business or related field OR
High School Diploma with 2 years of office or customer-facing experience - Experience with billing, insurance verification, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
