What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thin Client Deployment Technician position at Merge IT?
Our enterprise-level client in Morrisville, NC, has an immediate need to add several Thin Client Deployment Technicians as 'back ups' to support an existing team. Once completed with the background check, you'll be first in line to join the project. Full details below --
Job Notes:
--Short-term contract – will end between November 30th and December 31st.
--Onsite in Morrisville, NC.
--Background check takes three (3) weeks and includes a drug test, 20-year criminal background check, and a credit check.
--Windows 11 and Thin Client deployment experience required.
Pay Rate = $30 w2 per hour depending on experience level.
Job Details:
The primary tasks for the technicians will be to upgrade desktops to the client operating system. This will involve deploying Thin Clients in the office that have already been built.
Daily activities may include:
• Building desktops
• Blanco data erasure
• Deploying desktops
• Reclaiming desktops for erasure/build
• Build room management
