Full job description
Mercedes-Benz of Valencia is looking to add to our team of sales/service porters.
The Automotive Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the dealership.
Responsibilities include:
- Moving and Organizing vehicles from storage lots
- Washing Vehicles
- Filling vehicles with gasoline
- Other tasks requested by management
Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, ensuring all vehicles are presentable.
- Drive vehicles to designated areas, including parking, staging for delivery, or preparing for test drives.
- Coordinate with sales staff to ensure that vehicles are ready for display and delivery.
- Provide valet parking services when necessary, ensuring safe handling of customer vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status and any issues that arise.
Skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive experiences for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks.
