We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Porter to join our back-of-house team. Often referred to as the backbone of the restaurant, the Porter is essential to maintaining the flow of service and the cleanliness of our facility. Key Responsibilities

Sanitation: Operate the industrial dishwasher; hand-wash delicate glassware, pots, and pans; and ensure all items are dried and stored correctly.

Organization: Maintain the 'pit' and chemical storage areas in an orderly fashion according to health department standards.

Facility Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning floor drains, and wiping down kitchen surfaces.

Waste Management: Responsible for the removal of trash, recycling, and compost throughout the shift; ensuring bins are cleaned and relined.

Culinary Support: Assist the Prep team with basic tasks during low-volume periods (e.g., peeling vegetables, rotating stock) and assist with unloading deliveries.
Skills & Requirements-
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (8 hours) and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Work Ethic: A 'no task is too small' attitude and the ability to work at a fast pace during peak hours.

Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and servers.

Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
