Meraki Talent are working with a leading Megafund seeking a Direct Lending Associate to join their private credit platform.
Job Description
- Investing role focused on originated private credit and direct lending transactions within a well-established investment platform.
- Associates typically work on multiple live deals simultaneously, while also supporting existing investments and portfolio companies, covering a wide range of industries.
- Associates are expected to develop their own credit views and contribute across all aspects of the investment process including initial screening, underwriting, diligence, structuring, and execution.
- Role offers significant deal exposure and the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 – 4 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit, direct lending, or corporate banking.
- Strong financial modeling ability including three-statement modeling and leveraged finance / credit analysis.
- Experience underwriting leveraged capital structures and assessing credit risk preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including investment memo preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams across live deals and portfolio responsibilities.
- Experience working across a range of industries is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in long-term credit investing.
