A leading private equity firm investing in high-growth, founder-led businesses is seeking a Capital Formation Associate to support fundraising and investor relationship development. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated, relationship-oriented professional to work closely with a senior team and make a direct impact on the firm’s LP pipeline and capital formation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify prospective Limited Partners across RIAs, Family Offices, Endowments, and Foundations
- Conduct market research to identify new LP channels and opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, portfolio managers, executives, and intermediaries
- Support outreach efforts and refine marketing materials
- Manage pipeline activity using CRM tools
- Provide analytical and operational support for investor relations initiatives, including presentations, pipeline reports, and DDQ/RFP preparation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, private equity, investment sales, or business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, proactive approach to sourcing and relationship building
- High attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong motivation, curiosity, and interest in private equity and capital formation
