- High School Diploma or GED required; proof may be requested
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in surgical technology or acceptable related experience; non-certified candidates with experience may be considered
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
