Role: The Associate Sonographer operates ultrasound imaging equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
Responsibilities: Operate imaging devices, maintain safety protocols, follow complex instructions, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Sonography program or registered sonographer; applicable state licensure; ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI registry (or eligible); BLS certification within 30 days.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of imaging protocols, machine operation, safety procedures, and radiation safety; strong attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills; flexibility and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, reaching, and squatting.
