As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will evaluate, develop, and deliver speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes or facilities. Qualifications & Skills
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology (ASHA)
- Minimum six months of relevant experience; home health experience preferred
- Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation
- Provide personalized speech therapy to improve patient function and independence
- Assess and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Document evaluations, care plans, and progress reports
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional conduct standards
- Engage in ongoing education and staff development activities
