Position Overview

  • Work in the OB Emergency Department, providing direct nursing care
  • Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, executing physician and nursing orders, and managing discharge planning

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing
  • CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school

Skills & Duties

  • Assess patient conditions and communicate updates effectively
  • Serve as a primary coordinator for patient care
  • Follow physician and nursing directives accurately
  • Participate in discharge planning and healthcare team collaboration
