- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, serving areas, cafeteria, and dishroom.
- Handle, store, and serve food safely, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate computerized point of sale equipment for meal transactions.
- Work efficiently with team members and interact positively with students.
- Attend training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic arithmetic, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in institutional or school foodservice preferred.
- Must complete Serve Safe certification within one year.
- Knowledge of point of sale systems and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with diverse school communities is preferred.
