Responsibilities include
- conducting ultrasounds on inpatient floors
- identifying vessels of the Circle of Willis and extracranial feeding vessels
- analyzing results and providing preliminary reports
- training vascular ultrasound technologists to perform TCD exams proficiently
- inspecting and maintaining equipment for quality control
- adhering to safety, quality, and infection control standards
- High School/GED
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- Key skills involve technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging, vessel identification, patient assessment, and training capabilities. The role emphasizes patient interaction, technical expertise, and compliance with protocols to support accurate diagnostics and team development.
