- Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience (2 years preferred)
- Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state and/or multistate licensure
- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS; additional specialty certifications may be needed based on unit
- Relevant advanced certifications, including fetal monitoring and emergency response, are required within specified timeframes
- Providing clinical nursing care as needed
- Communicating departmental and staff concerns effectively
- Serving as a resource and guiding staff in clinical practice and operational issues
