About the Role
As a Relief Dining Supervisor, you will play a key part in ensuring our residents, guests, and staff receive exceptional meals and a warm, welcoming dining experience. This flexible, fill‑in leadership role provides coverage for PTO, Leaves of Absence, and sick days - making you an essential part of keeping our dining services running smoothly.
You will guide dining staff, support quality service, and help maintain a safe, sanitary, and positive dining atmosphere across our campus.
What You'll Do
- Provide supervisory coverage across shifts to support staffing needs
- Lead and support dining staff with training, guidance, and daily direction
- Ensure meals are served safely, efficiently, and with excellent hospitality
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food service quality
- Collaborate with other supervisors and department leaders as needed
- Support events, catering, and dining room operations
- Build positive relationships with residents and help enhance their dining experience
What We're Looking For
- A positive, dependable leader with strong communication skills
- Experience working with older adults (preferred but not required)
- Previous supervisory experience or leadership skills
- Ability to make decisions, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
- Commitment to teamwork, respect, and exceptional customer service
- Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- SERV Safe certification (or willingness to complete within one year)
Pay range, depending on experience: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
