Job Summary: 

As a Custodian at Meneses Law, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Responsible for overseeing custodial operations, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld. Your duties include coordinating cleaning schedules, inspecting work areas, and managing the procurement of cleaning supplies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy office environment. 


• Clean and sanitize breakrooms and restrooms to ensure a high standard of hygiene.


• Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies 


• Dust and wipe surface, including desk, chairs, window, doors, and other office furniture.


• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels. 


• Ensure water bottles are changed out and supply is kept. 


• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs related to custodial responsibilities. 


• Assist with cleaning big events for the firmwhenrequired


• Assist with setting up meeting rooms and prepare them for meeting/eventswhenrequired


• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment responsibly.


• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace.


• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards.


• Perform any other tasks or functionsdeemednecessary to the daily operations of the employer.

Required Skills/Abilities:  

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles.


• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment.


• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights.


• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.


• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently.


• Familiarity with safety protocols and use of cleaning chemicals.


• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, if needed.


• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 


• Ability to thrive in afastpaced, collaborative environment.


• Understanding and adhering to KPI’s and metrics.


• Able to type 45 WPMor more.

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• 3 years of cleaning experience.

Physical Demands: 

• This position involves regular walking, standing sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.  


• Occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching


• May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment and viewing computermonitorfor extended periods of time.


• Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.


• The ability to move and lift items up to10 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits for Working at Meneses Law:

• $23 per hour
