Role Description The Custodian role at Aphelion Enterprises is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms. Daily tasks may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and recycling, restocking supplies, and cleaning windows and surfaces. The role also involves performing basic upkeep such as reporting maintenance issues, supporting room setups for meetings or events, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. The Custodian works with facility and operations staff to ensure spaces remain welcoming and compliant with company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with general custodial duties, including floor care, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and surface sanitization.
- Ability to safely use cleaning tools, equipment, and products, following written instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to perform physical work, including standing, walking, lifting moderate weights, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a consistent commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
