Description:
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional appearance througho9ut the dealership which includes the showroom, offices, customer areas, service department, restrooms, and exterior grounds.
Requirements:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain showroom floors, offices, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize designated areas.
- Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of service drive and service customer areas.
- Monitor and restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
- Assist with light groundskeeping, including litter removal and exterior cleanliness.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Support dealership events and special cleaning projects as needed.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
