Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians

Job Summary

MEMCO Staffing is currently seeking Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for active commercial and residential construction projects throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused electricians with experience in conduit installation, wire pulling, and blueprint interpretation. These positions offer competitive pay and the opportunity to work on long-term construction projects across the RGV.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
• Run EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduit
• Pull wire and assist with terminations
• Install panels, breakers, lighting, switches, and outlets
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (Journeyman level)
• Maintain jobsite safety and organization
• Follow OSHA and project safety requirements

Journeyman Requirements

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (or reciprocal license)
• 3 years of commercial/industrial experience
• Strong understanding of NEC codes
• Experience bending conduit (hand & hydraulic benders)
• Ability to work independently

Apprentice Requirements

• 1–3 years of electrical experience preferred
• Texas Apprentice Electrician License preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials
• Willingness to learn and follow directions

General Requirements (All Candidates)

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
• Ability to work overtime as required
