MEMCO is hiring Concrete Carpenters and Concrete Finishers in the Eastover, SC area!

- M-F 7am-3:30pm
- Pay: $22/hr
- ASAP Start!
Responsibilities:
- Place, pour, and finish concrete on commercial and government job sites.
- Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist with large concrete pours, working closely with the crew and supervisors.
- Build, set, and remove forms for slabs, footings, walls, sidewalks, ramps, and other concrete work.
- Set grade and place rebar, embeds, and reinforcement as required by plans.
- Make sure all forms and finished concrete are level, straight, and properly aligned.
- Check work quality before, during, and after concrete pours.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety rules at all times.
- Work as a team with foremen, superintendents, and crew members to complete tasks safely and on schedule.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
- Report safety concerns, damaged tools, or site issues immediately.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete work (commercial or government projects preferred).
- Experience with pouring, finishing, and forming concrete.
- Able to complete quality work with minimal supervision.
- Physically able to perform construction duties, including lifting 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and working outdoors.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety‑minded on the job.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including steel‑toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and eye protection as required by the job site.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
