Apprentice & Journeyman Plumbers

We are currently seeking dependable Apprentice and Journeyman Plumbers for commercial and residential projects in the Brownsville area. Candidates must have hands-on plumbing experience, follow safety procedures, and work effectively as part of a construction team.
Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Install and assemble water, sewer, drain, and vent piping.
- Measure, cut, thread, and connect pipes using hand and power tools.
- Assist with installing plumbing fixtures, valves, and related equipment.
- Read basic construction drawings and follow verbal instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
Apprentice Plumber Requirements
- Previous plumbing or construction experience preferred.
- Current Texas Apprentice Plumber registration preferred or required, depending on the project.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in different weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Journeyman Plumber Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential plumbing systems.
- Install water supply, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, gas, and vent piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing layouts.
- Install and connect fixtures, valves, water heaters, and related equipment.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs.
- Direct and train apprentice plumbers when needed.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
Journeyman Plumber Requirements
- Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License.
- Commercial and residential plumbing experience.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Must have the necessary hand tools for the trade.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to pass project-specific background checks, drug screenings, or other employment requirements.
Schedule: Full-time; overtime may be available
