What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Caulker position at Memco?
Role & Responsibilities:
Seal and waterproof joints, seams, cracks, and openings in various surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, and concrete
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, and removing old caulking
Mix and apply sealants, caulk, putty, gaskets, and other sealing agents using tools like caulking guns, trowels, and brushes
Inspect work for quality, making touch-ups as needed to ensure airtight and watertight seals
Maintain safety and organization by following protocols, working at heights or in tight spaces when required, and keeping the work area clean
Follow project plans and specifications to meet quality and safety standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues promptly
