Melina’s Dance Company is seeking passionate and inspiring dance instructors to join our teaching team for the upcoming season.
MDC is a non-competitive dance studio dedicated to developing confident dancers and amazing human beings. Our programs focus on strong technique, artistry, creativity, and fostering a love of dance in a positive and encouraging environment.
We are currently hiring instructors to teach Intermediate and Advanced level classes, with opportunities in:
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
- Contemporary
- Modern
- Acro
Versatile instructors who can teach multiple styles and age groups are highly encouraged to apply.
About Our Studio
Melina’s Dance Company serves dancers ages 2–18 and is known for its welcoming, family-focused culture. Our mission is not only to train strong dancers, but to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of the arts.
We proudly operate in a non-competitive environment, allowing dancers to focus on growth, performance, and artistry.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes
- Provide strong technical training while fostering creativity and confidence
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment
- Prepare choreography for performances and showcases
- Collaborate with our supportive teaching team
Qualifications
- Strong background in dance training and technique
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Ability to work with children and teens of varying skill levels
- Passion for mentoring young dancers
- Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm
Schedule
Classes are primarily held:
- Weekday evenings
- Options are available to work with our Performance Company
